A price is a formula
Every component — material, energy, labour, depreciation, margin — is a parameter in the database. G3D changes them without touching code, and every change is recorded in a version history.
Minimum order
Small jobs have real costs
Setup, bed preparation, colour changes and inspection take time. The minimum-order rule accounts for that cost and is set so that printing a single part is still possible.
Volume discount
More units, lower unit cost
The quantity discount tiers are parameters too: at 10, 50 and 200 units the volume discount is applied automatically.
